About Us

Navor Koken is a restaurant and specialty store inspired by the communal spirit of Northern Germany, where we grew up surrounded by working farms and the Plattdeutsch dialect. The name, meaning "Neighbor's Kitchen," reflects the welcoming nature of our concept—a place for people to gather, share stories, and enjoy high-quality, locally sourced food and artisanal products.

At Navor Koken, we strive to combine the charm of a traditional neighborhood eatery with the unique offerings of a specialty store. Our focus is on fresh, locally sourced produce and high-quality German and Scandinavian foods. In addition to our lunch menu, we showcase products crafted by local artisans, as well as a curated selection of German and Scandinavian goods, including classic pantry staples and kitchen and tabletop items. A highlight of the store will be Odina's handmade pickles, available alongside other distinctive food items.
